Bue Marino Hotel & Rooftop Bar - Cala Gonone

The small size of the bathroom was surprising considering the room's cost, and noise from the kitchen could be heard from my room during evening hours, impacting my comfort. This place is great for short visits, especially for beach access.

We appreciated being in this property. The room was good sized and airy with a balcony, had a good night's sleep. Its location was central, right next to Spiaggia Centrale. The area was beautiful really close to the center of Cala Gonone, the harbour where all the boats leave from and the sea.

Delicious food, nice staff apart from a very happy receptionist. Comfy bed in the comfort queen room, plus an electric kettle, air conditioner, and a personal safe.

I had a lovely stay with amazing views during breakfast and the roof terrace was a perfect spot for a drink! Although flies were quite bothersome, I'd still return in a heartbeat!

Our general experience has been good, although when we arrived we found that our "room with sea view" was on the first floor with more views of the street than the sea, with the noise and little privacy that this implies. was a big disappointment and we asked to be moved to a higher floor. reception staff was very helpful and although they couldn't change us for the first night, they did change us for the second night. roof terrace has a nice jacuzzi and good views and restaurant is also worth a visit.

All the rooms with sea views have the same price, they are on the first floor as on the third, views between them are not really the same. We would return only if we are assured that we will be placed on a higher floor.

best thing about the hotel is the location, right next to the port from which the excursions to the Gulf of Orosei depart, splendid views of the gulf from the breakfast room (which serves as a restaurant the rest of the day). Friendly staff. room has a refrigerator and a hairdryer. Our room was on one side, with a small terrace overlooking the Port.

The rooms are old-fashioned, small (we had a triple upper one) with little space to leave the suitcase. The air-conditioning is old, noisy, and working regularly. Tiny shower. The free parking they advertise means that you can look for a free parking place in the street, or go to a free public parking and see if there is free space, but when we arrived everything was very full so we had to leave the car in the port parking (paid). That is, the hotel does not have its own parking.

The panoramic views from the rooftop terrace were amazing, and the staff were really good too provide excellent service. Breakfast featured a good variety, made each morning special, including local delicacies and fresh produce.

In my opinion this is the one of the best places in Cala Gonone. Location of the hotel is perfect - just near the sea. Friendly and helpful stuff talk perfect english and german. There is a beautiful restaurant at 4th floor of the hotel with probably the best panoramic view in the city. Accommodation's condition is not fantastic, but you'll find everything needed. Daily rooms cleaning is carefully done. The breakfast is quite good (taking in consideration breakfasts policy in Italy). Free wi-fi. Nice bar with the sea view. Possibility to take a beach umbrella. Free parking. Safe in the room. Everything you need for a great holiday in the fantastic place!

The constant clattering from the restaurant above our room was maddening, waking us early each morning without fail. We felt utterly frustrated when we requested a change of room due to the noise, but nothing was done to resolve our concerns.

Hotel staff was great - very helpful. Location was wonderful.

The bed was not very comfortable, and it seemed a bit expensive.

The staff were really impressive. Very attentive and always very polite.

This was just a prime choice for a city trip in Cala Gonone with excellent value for money. The views from the rooftop were gorgeous, especially while enjoying the jacuzzi. Arrive early to find parking nearby, as spots can be tricky to locate.

Hotel excellent. Location peaceful. Spectacular scenery. Pretty harbour. Limited shopping. Shingle/pebble beach painful. Need a car.
